Kylie's cancer battle 'not over yet'

Kylie Minogue says it is unlikely her battle with breast cancer is over yet, adding that there were fears the illness could have ruined her career.

Minogue told Britain's Sunday Mirror that her battle with cancer was ongoing, and that checkups continued to occur.

"It's not over... the voyage doesn't end suddenly. That's why it's so difficult to talk about it," she said.

The pop princess however said she had been touched by the kindness of others around her during the cancer battle.

"A young man approached me and gave me a rose. He said simply: 'Be brave. We're thinking of you'," she said.

Minogue also said that her management had pressured her to keep under wraps the illness, fearing it could destroy her career.

The singer in 2005 was forced to cancel her headlining 'Showgirl' tour following the cancer diagnosis.

"I'd be lying if I said all of my management were in agreement," Minogue said.

She also last week denied rumors over her alleged reunion with ex-boyfriend Olivier Martinez, saying they were untrue.
